just found this news on a Robbie Williams forum
original source: http://www.brandrepublic.com/bulleti...ncert-support/
"LONDON ? The Prince's Trust annual Party in the Park in Hyde Park, London, has been cancelled to make way for another huge outdoor concert, Live 8, supported by Bob Geldof in the run-up to the G8 summit.
London radio station 95.8 Capital FM, which normally runs Europe's largest one-day concert in Hyde Park, has agreed to support Live 8 by providing services at no cost, including the ticketing and broadcasting for commercial radio across the UK.
Keith Pringle, Capital FM managing director, said: "London loves Party in the Park, but sometimes you have to do the right thing and step aside for the greater good."
The Live 8 gig, which is not related to Live Aid, is to be held in Hyde Park at the beginning of July with artists such as Robbie Williams, Coldplay and U2 tipped to play.
Martina Milburn, chief executive of The Prince's Trust, added: "Capital and The Prince's Trust are delighted to support Live 8 and we look forward to Party in the Park next year."
Newly re-elected Prime Minister Tony Blair has said that this year's G8 summit will focus on climate change as "probably, long-term, the single most important issue we face as a global community".
At the same time at the Live 8 concert was announced, Geldof took the opportunity to rule out any Live Aid II concert, following on from the success of the Live Aid 20 single."
*wonders if there will be any opportunity for DH to be involved* Of course I'm wrapped that RW maybe there, always love any chance to see him perform live.
